Terms of Service

Effective: June 14, 2026. Last updated: June 14, 2026.

Privacy Policy: wikilicia.xyz/privacy

1. Introduction

Hey, thanks for using Wikilicia. By adding the bot to your server or using the dashboard, you are agreeing to these Terms of Service. Please read them before doing so.

These terms are an agreement between Wikilicia ("I", "me", "my") and you ("you", "your", "the user"). "You" refers to whoever is using the service, and in cases of doubt, the owner of the Discord server where Wikilicia is active is held responsible.

Before using Wikilicia, you also need to agree to Discord's own Terms of Service. Everything here sits on top of that.

I may update these terms from time to time. If anything significant changes, I'll try to give notice in the support server. Either way, continuing to use Wikilicia after changes are posted means you accept them. It's worth checking back here occasionally.

2. What Wikilicia is

Wikilicia is a Discord bot that gives servers tools for community management: levelling and XP, birthday tracking, welcome messages, temp voice channels, stat channels, giveaways, moderation, auto messages, audit logging, and more. It works through Discord's public API and follows Discord's developer terms.

Wikilicia is currently in beta. The bot is free to use and we're still figuring out what the long-term feature set looks like. A premium tier may come at some point, and if it does, users who were around during beta may get early access or other perks, but nothing is set in stone yet. Things may change as the bot grows.

3. Using the service

You're free to use Wikilicia for your server for any lawful purpose. A few things are off-limits though:

  • Using Wikilicia to send unsolicited messages or spam to users.
  • Using any feature in a way that violates Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
  • Attempting to abuse, overload, or disrupt Wikilicia's services.
  • Trying to access Wikilicia's backend directly or scraping its services using automated tools.
  • Using Wikilicia on servers that exist to harm, harass, or deceive people.

If you see someone abusing Wikilicia's features, please let me know through the support server.

4. Your responsibility as a server owner

When Wikilicia sends a message in your server, such as a level-up notification or welcome message, you are responsible for how those messages are configured. Don't set up Wikilicia to send content that would violate Discord's rules or mislead your members.

Server owners and admins who manage Wikilicia's settings through the dashboard are responsible for keeping things reasonable. If your server gets flagged for misuse of the bot, your access to Wikilicia may be removed.

5. Service availability

I do my best to keep Wikilicia online and working properly, but I can't guarantee 100% uptime. Outages happen, updates get pushed, things break sometimes. I'm not liable for any disruption to the service.

I may add, change, or remove features at any time. If something gets removed that your server relies on, I'll try to give notice where possible.

6. Termination

You can stop using Wikilicia at any time by kicking it from your server. Your data will be deleted after a short grace period.

I also reserve the right to remove access to Wikilicia for any server or user, with or without notice, if there's a clear violation of these terms or Discord's policies.

7. Limitation of liability

Wikilicia is provided as-is. I'm not responsible for any loss, damage, or issues that arise from using or not being able to use the service. This includes things like missed birthday announcements, lost XP data due to outages, or anything else that goes wrong.

8. Contact

If you have questions about these terms or need to get in touch, join the support server or send an email to [email protected].
